Toile and Stripes
The Chore Jacket
You wake up it is 55 degrees out, the ground is greening and the sun has been up for an hour or so. The pink of the morning is fading and you step out of bed, feet in your slippers and you reach for this mid-weight linen jacket. You sip your coffee as you watch the world awaken around you. Life feels pure and good. The garden is calling your name and maybe a casual dinner while the sunsets is in the book for the day. The whole day, this jacket sees you through with it's deep pockets, nubby and textured heavy linen it pairs with nearly everything in your closet.
Megan Gilger and Abby Foster of Toile and Stripes designed this jacket together in order to be worn in nearly every moment of life. The concept being that if we have great clothes, they will see us through living a life well lived.
Our hope is this beautiful chore jacket will be there through all points of life. As with everything we stock, as a Fresh Exchange Collection item, this jacket is meant to live with you and get better with age. The linen is intended to soften and wear through the years with hopes that one day you can pass the piece down to another.
