We are always asking, how can we bring life to the things around us. And these candle stick holders were born out of that vision. Many ash trees in Northern Michigan have been forced to be cut down because of an invasive species killing them, but many times the wood is still worthy of becoming something, so we worked with Noah at Freshwater Woodworks to give second life to these trees by creating these simple yet modern candle stick holders in three sizes. Hand turned and perfectly finished with mineral oil to show the natural texture of the wood, these holders go perfectly with our Beeswax tapers and were designed to pair together.
The ash wood is finished with food-safe mineral oil. With normal use, wax will fall onto the candlesticks. This is normal and adds character to the candlesticks. To minimize any distortion, if you choose to clean your candlesticks, always hand wash them and keep them out of standing water. Also, always extinguish the flame before it travels near the wood. With simple precautions, the candlesticks should last a lifetime!
